Japan Poker Union Forms Business Partnership with Asian Poker Tour

Japan Poker Union is pleased to announce that it has entered into a business partnership with the Asian Poker Tour (APT), which organizes poker events across the Asia region. Through this collaboration, we aim to further promote the international presence of Japanese players and enhance the global appeal of poker events within Japan.

Japan Poker Union has been supporting Japanese players who have excelled in domestic tournaments such as JOPT by entering into business contracts with them to facilitate their participation in international competitions. Moving forward, this partnership will create even more opportunities for Japanese players to succeed on the global stage.

In addition to the players, we are also committed to enhancing the skills of dealers and staff involved in these tournaments by facilitating exchanges through overseas assignments and inviting foreign personnel to Japan. This will, in turn, improve the overall quality of tournament operations.

APT, the organization we are partnering with, has been offering world-class poker experiences in Asia since 2008, and many Japanese players have participated in their events. This partnership is expected to increase the number of Japanese participants in APT events.

Furthermore, in conjunction with this partnership, we will strengthen the presence of Japanese players through events such as the “Sengoku Poker Tour” to be held in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and “JOPT 2024 Sapporo #02” in Sapporo, Hokkaido, both scheduled for this September. Approximately 50 players selected from these tournaments will participate in the “APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024,” which will be held in Taipei starting September 27.

Japan Poker Union, with sponsorship from POKERWEB COIN, will continue to support Japanese players’ participation and success in poker tournaments worldwide, starting with Asia. We sincerely appreciate your continued support of our activities.
